I am so excited to introduce this to you. I announced it last month, and the first episode went live on August 1! If you haven’t had a chance to listen to it, I hope you will. I had a wonderful conversation with Amber M. Jewell, a woman who is aptly named, because she truly is a treasure. Having spent time in foster care as a youth, she went on to become a social worker and foster parent. She now uses her story to encourage others.

I am not new to podcasting. From 2008-2012, I hosted an interview podcast called IAM Conversations, where I followed the “conversational interview” format. My guests were mostly people in the arts and humanities. I’ve taken the same approach to talking with people inside the foster care system, and it feel so good to be back in the podcasting saddle!

I plan to release a new episode every Monday to members of the Flourishing Foster Parent, and then to everyone else every Thursday. Please subscribe and review the podcast and help spread the word!
