Y’all know I want more people to become foster parents.

Part of why I started A Fostered Life was to encourage more people to get licensed, and to support those who are licensed so they don’t burn out and quit.

That said, I have had a couple of conversations lately that reminded me that foster parenting is not for everyone. And even for those who are supposed to be foster parents, it’s not for everyone all the time.
